Thomas Eason

Thomas Eason has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Thomas is currently working as a Technology Manager at SELECT Power Systems since October 2019. Prior to this, Thomas worked as a freelance designer from January 2011 to November 2019, offering website design and development services to small businesses and individuals. During this period, they gained expertise in Wordpress, Joomla, and Drupal.

Before their freelance career, Thomas worked as a Software Design/Dev Engineer (Caterpillar contractor) at EASi from May 2018 to October 2019. Thomas also served as a Web Developer at Select Power Systems from November 2017 to May 2018, and as a Web Developer/Graphic Designer/Marketing professional at Superdroid Robots from July 2016 to November 2017.

In addition, Thomas has experience in the healthcare sector, having worked as a Configuration Specialist at Orlando Health from August 2015 to March 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Blackbaud for over five years, initially as a Senior Software Support Analyst from October 2009 to October 2010, and later as a Senior Installation and Connectivity Support Analyst from October 2010 to January 2015.

Thomas began their career in the technology field as a Desktop Support Analyst at Brackett and Cochran Mfg. from January 2004 to September 2009. Thomas provided desktop services, assisted in maintaining the local area network, and automated tasks when possible. Thomas also researched new technologies and trends to improve system efficiency.

Before joining Brackett and Cochran Mfg., Thomas worked at Suburban Services as a Desktop Support/Training Director from January 2000 to January 2004. Thomas started their career as an Assistant Store Manager at Bose from February 1998 to January 2000.

Thomas Eason has a diverse education history beginning with their attendance at the College of Charleston in 1988. Although they only attended for a year, their field of study during that time was computer science. Following this, Thomas obtained an Associates degree in Computer Technology from Trident Technical College which they completed between 2007 and 2009. Thomas later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Web Development at the University of Phoenix from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Thomas obtained the CompTIA Network+ certification in April 2012 and the CompTIA A+ certification in August 2009.
