Cody Barnes

Cody Barnes has extensive work experience in the field of medical laboratory technology. Cody started their career in 2012 at Weirton Medical Center, where they gained experience in blood banking and microbiology. Cody then worked at Aureus Medical Group as a Medical Laboratory Technician from 2015 to 2017. Following that, they joined The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center as a Medical Laboratory Technician in the Flow Cytometry Department. Cody worked there from 2017 to 2021 and gained experience in various laboratory equipment and techniques. In 2021, they joined PSI (Proteam Solutions Inc) as a QA Analyst and later moved to Select Sires Inc. in 2022, where they currently hold the position of QA Analyst.

Cody Barnes attended Eastern Gateway Community College from 2008 to 2011, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist. Afterward, in 2014, they obtained the Medical Laboratory Technician ASCP certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). In 2020, Cody enrolled in the Columbus IT Bootcamp, specializing in Software Development. In February 2021, they achieved the Professional Scrum Master 1 certification from Scrum.org.
