Flora W.

Flora W. is a Technical Optimisation Analyst at Selected Interventions since May 2020, where responsibilities include developing new features for routing and optimisation software, covering both backend and user interface aspects. Prior to this role, Flora worked as a Freelance Science Writer at Research Publishing International Ltd., focusing on summarizing research findings related to computer science and the environment from January 2019 to May 2020. Flora's experience at Imperial College London includes roles as a Communications Research Analyst, where communication of climate science developments was performed, and as a Research Assistant/Associate, investigating the impact of climate change on agricultural production. Additionally, Flora contributed to the Climate Science exhibition at the Science Museum as a Consultant and served as a Mathematics Teaching Assistant for undergraduates. Flora holds a PhD in Physical Oceanography from Imperial College London and an MSci in Physics with Theoretical Physics from the University of Nottingham.
