Lotte Welten

Lotte Welten is the founder and CEO of Selection Lab, a company that helps 200+ organizations create fast, fair, and truly human hiring processes by combining GenAI, psychometrics, and contextual intelligence. They lead Selection Lab, using a self-learning algorithm and data sources such as résumés and grade lists to predict which applicants resemble top performers and to improve hiring decisions over time. Earlier in their career, they founded Pitt&Chill (2016–2017) and served as project lead for Geweld Gezien at Blijf Groep (2014–2016). They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social History from the University of Amsterdam (2007–2014), a Minor in Sinologie from Leiden University (2010–2011), and studied Mandarin at Beijing Language and Culture University (2006–2007).
