Ashley Bethel

Ashley Bethel, CPCU, AU-M, currently serves as a Business Segment Manager at Selective Insurance since August 2023. Previously, Ashley held various roles at Nationwide from September 2017 to July 2023, including Specialty Care Territory Manager and Commercial Underwriting Specialist. Prior professional experiences include working as a Specialty Lines Underwriter at Continental Western Group, Senior Commercial Underwriter at GuideOne Insurance, and Consumer Loan Underwriter II at Wells Fargo. Ashley’s career began at Marsh, where multiple positions were held, including Account Manager and Underwriter II. Additional experience includes a role as Loan Processor at Wells Fargo Financial and an internship at the Department of Elder Affairs. Equipped with a B.S. in Sociology from Iowa State University, Ashley has developed a strong expertise in underwriting, risk assessment, and client relationship management throughout nearly two decades in the insurance and financial services industries.
