Cherie Wright

Cherie Wright, CPCU, CIC, currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Field Operations for South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky at Selective Insurance, a position held since October 2008. In this role, Cherie oversees the Southern Region Small Business Team, ensuring high production and service standards while providing technical guidance to underwriters and agents. Previous roles at Selective Insurance include Underwriting Technical Specialist, overseeing the Underwriting Quality Audit Program, and Senior Underwriter Specialist, focusing on multi-line commercial underwriting. Cherie also has experience as a Commercial Lines Middle Market Underwriter at Liberty Mutual Insurance and completed an underwriting internship at Amerisure Insurance. Educated with an MBA in Finance from Winthrop University and a BSBA in Risk Management and Insurance from Appalachian State University, Cherie also participated in a study abroad program at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand.
