John Stephens

John Stephens has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the General Liability Claims Manager at Selective Insurance since February 2014. In this role, John also leads teams focused on litigation and claims management, overseeing a team of nine direct reports while ensuring quality claims handling, technical oversight, and training. Prior experience includes serving as the Casualty Unit Leader at Westfield Group/Westfield Insurance from November 1996 to February 2014 and as a Field Claims Representative at Progressive Insurance from January 1994 to January 1996. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Xavier University and a Master's degree in Insurance Management from Boston University.
