Mike Moser

State Director-idaho at Selective Service System

Mike Moser currently serves as the State Director for Idaho at the Selective Service System, a position held since July 2005. Previously, Moser worked at Ada County, Idaho, as a Program Manager in Criminal Justice for nearly six years, focusing on Jail and Alternative to Incarceration Programs. Additionally, Moser was an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute from March 2006 to March 2013, teaching various Criminal Justice classes. Moser also has a military background, having retired as a Major and U.S. Army Engineer Officer from the Idaho Army National Guard after over 31 years of service. Moser earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary studies, combining Social Work and Business, from Lewis-Clark State College.

Selective Service System

The Selective Service System is charged with providing the Department of Defense trained and untrained personnel in the event of a national emergency. Almost all male citizens and immigrants between the agees of 18-25 must register with the Selective Service. The Selective Service also provides alternative service options for concientious objectors.
