Thomas J. Kenney

Thomas Kenney serves as the Director of Region 1 at the Selective Service System since 2013, responsible for overseeing program management and mobilization training, ensuring the efficient registration and provision of personnel in national emergencies. Previous experience includes Chief of Operations in the U.S. Air Force, where responsibilities included supervising a 60-member team and implementing recruitment strategies that successfully enlisted over 90,000 service members. Additionally, Thomas held the position of Deputy Group Commander at the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command, managing a $50 million budget and advising on leadership and personnel matters. Educational qualifications encompass an MBA in Management/Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University and two B.S. degrees from the United States Air Force Academy in Marketing/Engineering and General Engineering, alongside professional military education from the Air War College.
