Heather Anderson has over 20 years of experience in the field of internal audit. Heather is currently serving as the VP of Internal Audit at Selene Finance LP. Prior to this role, Heather held the position of Internal Audit Manager at both Services Corporation International and Worthington Industries. At Services Corporation International, they implemented a formal infrastructure for consistency and performance measurement, identified cash trapped in bank accounts, and delivered value-added insights to improve customer service. At Worthington Industries, Heather was promoted to manager for their consistent quality in project deliverables and ability to apply sound judgment. Heather also mentored internal audit staff and led an audit team that significantly reduced time spent on SOX compliance areas. Before that, Heather worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Worthington Industries, where they identified under-billed expenses and built valuable relationships with different departments. Heather began their career as an Internal Audit Staff member at Huntington National Bank, where they coordinated audits and maintained timely reviews in the mortgage loan servicing environment. Heather Anderson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Franklin University from 2001 to 2004. Heather also received additional certifications including Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in July 2015, and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in December 2013.
