Katy Thurmond, CPA, has a diverse range of experience in the accounting field. Katy is currently serving as the Accounting Director at Selene Finance LP, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Caliber Home Loans, Inc., where they held various roles. From August 2019 to March 2023, they served as AVP - Accounting. From October 2016 to August 2019, they held the position of Accounting Manager. From May 2013 to September 2016, they worked as a Senior Accountant at the same company. Before joining Caliber Home Loans, Katy worked at Ernst & Young as an Audit Senior from October 2010 to April 2013. Overall, they have gained valuable experience and knowledge in the field of accounting throughout their career.
Katy Thurmond, CPA, obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in 2009. Katy then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Finance, General from the same institution, completing it in 2010. In October 2012, Katy obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.

Founded in 2007, Selene was created to provide loan resolution strategies for distressed mortgage investment portfolios.
