Nathan Lafferty

Nathan Lafferty is a highly experienced software engineer with a focus on backend development and team leadership. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Self Esteem Brands, LLC since May 2019, Nathan has been instrumental in the development of the Basecamp platform and works closely with business partners to define requirements. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer, Nathan contributed to multiple projects, including online signup and global billing integrations for the ACME backend development team. Nathan's experience at Thinix from May 2013 to May 2019 includes leading a team to create a distributed network monitoring platform, developing real-time monitoring systems, and implementing Agile methodologies. Early in the career at Iowa State University, Nathan held various roles related to software development and IT support, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.
