Matthew Logan, MD, MHCM has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Matthew started their career in 2001 as an Emergency Medicine Resident at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. In 2004, they joined Self Regional Healthcare as an Emergency Medicine Physician and went on to hold various leadership roles including Chief Medical Officer & VP of Medical Affairs, Medical Director - Emergency Department, and Chief Of Staff. Matthew currently serves as the President & CEO of Self Regional Healthcare. During their time at Self Regional Healthcare, they also served as the Medical Director for Greenwood County EMS from 2007 to 2021. Additionally, they were the President of the South Carolina Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians from 2011 to 2013. With their expertise and experience, Matthew Logan has made significant contributions to the healthcare field.

Matthew Logan, MD, MHCM, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. Matthew then attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine from 1997 to 2001, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Recently, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Health Care Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Board Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians. Matthew is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
