Russell Lusak

Russell Lusak is the current COO at Selfhelp Community Services. Russell has held this position since September of 2012. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President at Selfhelp Community Services from June 2007 to September 2012. In this role, they oversaw the home care programs, which included a CHHA, LHCSA, Aide Training Program, two NYC Home Care Programs, as well as back office functionality inclusive of Human Resources, Labor Relations, Facilities Management, Risk Management, Contract Administration, Purchasing, Marketing, State Advocacy, and Information Technology. Russell also provided board governance oversight to our Home and Community Based Services, Technology, and Planning Committees of the Board of Directors.

Russell is committed to Selfhelp's mission of promoting independence and providing innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of their community.

Russell Lusak has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University. Russell also has certification from the New York State Department of Health in Licensed New York State Nursing Home Administrator.

Russell Lusak reports to Stuart C. Kaplan, CEO. They are on a team with Lois Deutsch - Executive Director, Selfhelp Community Services Foundation, Amy Thomas - VP, Home Care Services, and Steven G. Tepper - General Counsel.
