Charlotte Powell

Charlotte Powell has extensive work experience in learning and development roles. Charlotte currently works as the Learning & Development Lead at Selfridges since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Learning & Development Manager at Selfridges from December 2020 to July 2022. Charlotte also worked as a Learning and Development Manager at Selfridges from May 2017 to December 2020.

Before joining Selfridges, Charlotte worked at White Stuff as a Development & Culture Partner from April 2016 to April 2017. Prior to that, they held the role of Development & Culture Advisor at White Stuff from April 2015 to March 2016. Charlotte started their journey at White Stuff as a People Engagement Advisor from April 2014 to March 2015.

Charlotte's experience also includes their work at Tesco PLC, where they served as a Personnel Manager for UK General Merchandise from February 2014 to April 2014. Before that, they were part of the Personnel, Resourcing & Entry Level team for UK General Merchandise from February 2013 to January 2014. Charlotte started their career at Tesco PLC as a Trainee Personnel Manager for UK Clothing from January 2012 to February 2013.

In addition, Charlotte worked at Reed as a Contracts Consultant from March 2011 to December 2011. Prior to this role, they served as a Trainee Temporary Contracts Consultant from September 2010 to April 2011. Charlotte started their career journey as an intern at Reed in August 2010 for a short duration of one month.

Charlotte's earliest work experience was at Gap Inc./Gap, where they worked as a Sales Associate/Supervisor from October 2007 to October 2010.

Charlotte Powell completed their education at the University of Hertfordshire, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended the University of Sheffield from 2006 to 2009 and earned a Joint Honours Degree in History and Politics. Their primary education was completed at Bolton School Girls' Division from 1992 to 2006. In addition to their degrees, Charlotte has obtained various certifications, including Fashion History from The Business of Fashion, Insights Practitioner from Insights, TAP Certificate in Training Design from TAP Learning, and CIPD Associate Member from CIPD.
