As Senior Vice President of Development, Malloy is one the founding executives of Selig Development Company. Malloy serves as the lead development executive for The Works, Selig’s 80-acre adaptive mixed-use project in the Upper Westside. Malloy also plays a role on other developments within Selig’s development portfolio, this included the planning for 1105 West Peachtree and 40 West 12th.
Malloy joined Selig in early 2017 after 13 years with Carter. There, she played a leading role in many of the company’s most significant public-private partnership developments. She specialized in the development of complex, large-scale, urban mixed-use projects, including the Summerhill redevelopment which was later awarded Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Best in Atlanta Real Estate Awards Overall Deal in 2017. She has played an integral role on two of Carter’s most notable projects, The Banks, a $600 million urban mixed-use project in Columbus, Ohio and recipient of NAIOP Cincinnati’s prestigious “Impact Award,” and City Springs, a $300 million urban mixed-use public-private project in Sandy Springs developed in partnership with Selig. For her achievements, she has been named an “Atlanta Power Women in Commercial Real Estate,” by Bisnow and a “Woman to Watch,” by national publication, Real Estate Forum.
Malloy is an active leader in the community. She currently serves as Chair of the City of Atlanta Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Midtown Improvement District (MID), Upper Westside Community Improvement District (UWCID), Georgia Institute of Technology Real Estate Board, and the Northwest Community Alliance (NCA). Malloy graduated from Leadership Atlanta in 2017 and has since played an active leadership role. For two semesters she also volunteered to lead a Real Estate Practicum class, teaching graduate and undergraduate students at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business.
