Lu Fan

Lu Fan currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Selina Finance, which is the first lender in the UK to offer Home Equity Lines of Credit. Previously, Lu held the CTO position at Y TREE, where expertise in financial life intelligence was developed. Initial experience at Y TREE began as Lead Developer, collaborating with global tech teams. Lu also contributed as a Software Architect and Lead Developer at Arenko Group, focusing on smart grid technology. Additional roles include Non-Executive Director at JW & Associates, Chief Science Officer at Payfont Limited, and distinguished academic positions, including Programme Leader for Software Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University and Teaching Fellow at Heriot-Watt University. Lu Fan holds a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc with Distinction in IT Software Systems from Heriot-Watt University.
