May P. has a strong background in the hospitality industry, with experience in various roles. May currently serves as the Interim Global Head of Marketing at Selina, where they manage marketing operations on a global scale. Prior to this, May worked as the Global Operations Analyst & PMO at Selina.
Before joining Selina, May was the Founder and Director of MPK & Co., a company they founded in 2020. May also worked at M8 Hospitality as a Brand Management and Commercial Strategies specialist, where they focused on entrepreneurial thinking and breaking new boundaries in the hospitality management field.
May's experience also includes working at Adoptive Families of Hong Kong (AFHK), a nonprofit organization, as an Outreach and Programme Assistant. At AFHK, they provided resources, support, and social activities for families involved in adoption.
Additionally, May worked at MGK Fight Club as a Club Manager, where they successfully implemented strategies for growth, but the role was put on hold due to funding restructuring.
May has also held executive positions at Artyzen Hospitality Group, Rosewood Hotel Group, Wharf Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels, and Park Hyatt Shanghai, where they played key roles in brand development, sales and marketing, and revenue management in the hospitality industry.
May P. completed a Diploma of Business Administration in Global Business Administration from The University of Manchester from 2016-2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from Florida International University from 1986-1988. May'seducation history also includes a Diploma of Arts in Hotel and Motel Management from Miami Dade College from 1984-1986.
