Marcello Gambaro

Marcello Gambaro currently serves as the Deputy Chief Audit Executive and Head of Internal Audit for Retail Banking at Banca Sella, a position held since July 2016, overseeing a team of 12 employees and reporting directly to the Chief Audit Executive. Previously, Marcello Gambaro was the Head of Internal Audit at CBA Vita S.p.A. from April 2012 to June 2016, where responsibilities included reporting to the Board of Directors and submitting the audit plan with a focus on risk-based audits. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Internal Auditor at Banca Sella Holding from April 2007 to March 2012, conducting operational audits across various entities, and as a Senior Auditor at KPMG Italy from December 2004 to March 2007, where engagement involved comprehensive audits of financial statements and due diligence processes. Marcello Gambaro holds a Master’s degree in Auditing and Risk Management from Università di Pisa and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale.
