Andy Sharples is an experienced project delivery executive currently at Sellafield Ltd, having held the position since June 2021. Previously, Andy spent over 13 years at Mace, advancing from Director of Defence, Energy & Utilities to various leadership roles, including Managing Director of AMA Nuclear Limited, focusing on nuclear waste management projects. Notable positions also include Programme Delivery Director at NuGeneration Limited and Managing Director at Vennsys, where Andy led recovery strategies. A graduate of The University of Salford with a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, along with qualifications in Business & Finance and Building Construction, Andy has extensive expertise in utilities, project management, and strategic development within the nuclear and water sectors.
