Ian Wood

Ian Wood serves as the General Counsel at Sellafield Ltd, a position held since September 2022, after a distinguished career as both an in-house counsel and an external adviser. Prior experience includes five years as a Partner at Squire Patton Boggs and King & Wood Mallesons, as well as nearly nine years at DLA Piper in a similar role. Ian began in the legal field as In House Counsel at British Nuclear Fuels Plc and held a tenancy at 8 King Street Chambers from 1990 to 2006. Ian earned a Law degree from The University of Manchester between 1985 and 1989.
