Phil Egan

Phil Egan is an accomplished Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear and wastewater treatment sectors. Currently, Phil holds a senior position at Sellafield Ltd, focusing on legacy nuclear waste retrieval since February 2024. Prior to this role, Phil spent over a decade at AECOM, specializing in similar areas of nuclear waste management. Leadership experience includes serving as Director at Egan Engineering and undertaking wastewater treatment concept design work at United Utilities. Phil’s earlier career involved significant roles at AMEC and Scott Wilson, where contributions centered on nuclear retrievals and technical challenges. Phil began as a Process Modeller and Technical Support Officer at Nexia Solutions and worked as a Pilot Plant Technician at the University of Manchester. Educational credentials include a BEng.
