John Atcheson has worked in a variety of roles in the sustainability and technology industries. John began their career in 1999 as a Board Director and Board Chair of the Sightline Institute. In 2000, they founded and served as CEO of Ads.com. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of SparkWords, and from 2010 to 2014 they were the Founder and Chair, and later Co-Founder and CEO of Stuffstr. From 2012 to 2021, they served as an Advisor and Vice President at Getaround, Advisor at CauliBox, and COO at Grist. In 2021, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of Sellalong, and in 2022 they became the Co-Founder and CEO of Circular Way. John has also served as a Board Director at the Seattle Symphony since 2001.
John Atcheson attended Brown University from 1977 to 1981, graduating with an AB in Economics & Music. John then attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1984 to 1986, earning an MBA.
