Nilda Cintrón-Cortez, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Nilda most recently served as the Chief People Officer at Sellars Absorbent Materials starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Chief Human Resources Officer at Luther Manor, a Life Plan Community from January 2020 to January 2022.

From 2005 to 2018, Nilda worked at Allen Edmonds, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Human Resources and Interim HR Director/Senior HR Generalist. In these positions, they demonstrated expertise in talent management, recruiting, compensation analysis, employee relations, and compliance. Nilda also played a significant role in implementing effective recruitment initiatives and leading change management efforts.

Nilda Cintrón-Cortez, Ph.D. earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service from Cardinal Stritch University between 2016 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Masters of Science degree in Management with a focus on HR from the same institution between 2000 and 2002. Nilda obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science, specializing in Psychology and Spanish, from Mount Mary University between 1992 and 1998.
