Cathy Vera started their career as a data entry specialist at BDO USA, LLP in February 2011. After a few months, they were promoted to finance manager at Yellowstone Capital LLC, where they worked for six years. In 2018, they left Yellowstone to work as a full-charge bookkeeper at the United Chinese Association of Brooklyn. Vera has been with Selldorf Architects since 2019.

Cathy Vera has a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University and is certified from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in Adult Mental Health First Aid.
