Matthew Cyrus

Matthew Cyrus has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matthew began their professional career as a Research Intern at Albany Medical College in 2014, where they conducted research on ESAM and Mef2C in vascular and lymphatic endothelial cells. In 2014, they also worked as a Lifeguard at the YMCA of Greater New York until 2017.

In 2017, Matthew joined the University of Rhode Island as a Tour Guide and served in that role until 2018. During their time at the university, they also gained experience in Capstone Design, where they worked within a 3-person interdisciplinary team to design a patient data interface for TheraCycleTM. Matthew developed the backend code for the graphical user interface using Python and demonstrated team management skills by delegating tasks and ensuring completion by given deadlines.

In 2021, Matthew worked at Warm Winds as a Boardroom Sales Representative, where they gained sales experience selling high-end surfboards to customers. Matthew also handled custom order development and customer relations management. Moving forward, in 2023, Matthew joined Selux Diagnostics, Inc as a Field Service Engineer.
