Christine Lane

Christine Lane is an experienced professional in community engagement and development, currently serving as a Funding Specialist at Kairos Food Rescue since July 2024 and as Community and Economic Development Lead at Selwyn District Council since April 2023. Previously, Christine held the position of Industry Engagement Lead at Ringa Hora from January 2022 to March 2023 and served as Senior Community Engagement Advisor at Ipswich City Council from June 2021 to January 2022. A significant tenure at Christchurch City Council from June 2013 to September 2021 included roles as Community Governance and Partnerships Manager, where community participation and governance support were key functions, and as Community Development Advisor, focusing on enhancing community well-being and capacity building.
