Laura Caygill

Laura Caygill currently serves as the Operations Manager (Arts, Culture & Lifelong Learning) at Selwyn District Council. Prior to this role, Laura held positions such as Community Experiences and Diversity Team Leader at Waimakariri District Council and Manager Community Library at Auckland Council. Laura has a strong background in library management and community outreach, with a diverse range of experience in the journalism and research fields as well. Laura holds a Master of Information Studies in Archives & Records, Libraries from Victoria University of Wellington and has pursued additional education in translation and Te Reo Māori.
