Susanne Hiller

Susanne Hiller is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate affairs, public relations, and strategic communications. Currently serving as Senior Counsel for Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations at SEM Ltd since April 2025, Susanne previously held the position of Manager of Corporate Affairs for Vale Newfoundland and Labrador from February 2022 to 2025. Susanne's career includes leadership roles such as Director of Corporate Communications for the City of Cambridge Ontario, Senior Communications Advisor at Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, and founding Susanne Hiller PR, where tailored communication strategies were developed for various clients. Additionally, Susanne served as Director of Communications for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and worked as a writer for National Post, Inc. Susanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (Honours) from Memorial University and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of King's College.
