Andrew Browne is an award-winning journalist with nearly four decades of experience in Asia. They served as the Asia-Pacific News Editor for Reuters, China Editor for The Wall Street Journal, and worked as an on-air commentator for NBC during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Previously, they were the Editorial Director for the Bloomberg New Economy Forum from 2018 to 2022, and are currently a Partner at Brunswick Group, advising on geopolitical strategy. As of 2025, Andrew is the Managing Editor for Live Journalism at SEMAFOR, focusing on the editorial program for the World Economy Summit and writing a column on global business. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Leeds and a BA in Chinese Studies from King George V School in Hong Kong.
