Fernando Correa Sevilla

Fernando Correa Sevilla has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Fernando began their career in 2001 at SEMAICA, where they worked in various positions including CEO, Socio - Director, Senior Project Manager, Gerente de proyectos, Coordinador de proyectos, and Ingeniero residente. In 2019, they joined YPO as a Member and later took on roles such as Chapter Learning Officer, Chapter Membership Officer, Chapter Chair, and Construction Industry Network Champion for South America Region. In 2022, they became a Chapter Forum Officer at YPO. Fernando also had leadership roles at Gonzyola Cia. Ltda. as CEO and at Textiles Texsa as Chairman of the Board and Member of the Board of Directors. Fernando was the Chairman of the Board at Consejo Ecuatoriano de Edificación Sustentable from 2011 to 2017 and later served as Director Ejecutivo. Fernando is currently Chairman of the Board. Fernando has also been involved in Rain Forest Bamboo as Chairman of the board, Entrepreneurs' Organization as Finance Chair, URGENPRO as Owner and CEO, and ENKADOR as Member of the board of directors.

Fernando Correa Sevilla has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, obtained from 1994 to 1999. Fernando then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University, completing it from 1999 to 2001. In 2002 to 2004, they studied Business Administration at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Recently, in 2017, Fernando completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. Furthermore, they obtained a LEED Green Associate certification from the Green Building Certification Institute in 2012.
