Nicola Sahar, MD is an experienced professional with a background in healthcare and entrepreneurship. Nicola began their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant at The Offord Centre for Child Studies and a Research Assistant in the Department of Paediatrics at McMaster University. In 2015, they served as an International Health and Policy Intern at Global Strategy Lab. In 2016, they worked as a Clinical Consultant at a Stealth Healthcare Startup and was selected for The Next 36, a 9-month national entrepreneurship program that identifies promising young Canadian entrepreneurs. Nicola also interned at St. Michael's Hospital, where they helped to set the telemedicine strategy. In 2018, they were a Summer Associate at Bain & Company, and in 2017 they were a Junior Fellow at Massey College. Currently, they are the Co-Founder & CEO of Semantic Health.
Nicola Sahar, MD is currently enrolled at Harvard Business School, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Toronto between 2015 and 2019. Nicola also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences from McMaster University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2015.
