Daniel Gallar

Daniel Gallar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel began their career working as a freelance court interpreter and notary translator, specializing in legal, business, and technical translations. Daniel also provided simultaneous and sight interpretations for various translation agencies and institutions.

In 2004, Daniel worked as a Spanish teacher at Schoola English College, where they not only taught courses but also provided personalized tutorials and follow-ups for students.

From 2005 to 2006, they worked as an IT technical translator at Lenovo, performing translation tasks related to technical materials.

In 2006, Daniel joined KeyPoint Technologies as a team leader in the Languages and Linguistics Department. Daniel was responsible for managing the growth and development of the department, recruiting new linguists, and translating marketing and product materials.

Daniel then joined Hewlett-Packard in 2008 as an Inside Sales/Account Manager. Daniel collaborated with the BTO Field Account Managers for the Iberian Market, producing price quotes, generating sales leads, and managing deals on the CRM platform.

From 2009 to 2011, Daniel worked as the Spanish Country Manager at Capital Steel Buildings, overseeing operations in Spain and managing the market.

In 2011, they joined Microsoft/Rainmaker Systems as an IT Sales Manager, responsible for driving sales in the IT sector.

From 2013 to 2017, Daniel worked as a Business Development Manager at ComFin Software GmbH, focusing on developing business opportunities.

In 2017, they moved to nexxar as a Relationship Manager, where they played a key role in digital corporate reporting, managing creative concepts and project go-live.

Since 2019, Daniel has been working at Semantic Web Company (SWC) in various roles. Daniel started as a Customer Success Manager, helping organizations find the right package for their knowledge management, data analytics, and content organization strategies. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director of Sales, contributing to sales and revenue growth.

Throughout their career, Daniel has gained expertise in sales, account management, business development, translation, and linguistics.

Daniel Gallar obtained a BA in English Studies from Universitat d'Alacant in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they pursued another BA in Translation and Interpreting (Spanish, English, French) from the same institution, specializing in Legal, Financial, Literary Translation, Simultaneous, and Consecutive Interpreting. Additionally, they completed a degree in Court Interpreter / Notary Translator in Spanish-English from Universitat d'Alacant from 1998 to 2002, focusing on Notarized Legal Translation and being appointed by the Spanish Foreign Office.
