Poornima Bynagari

Poornima Bynagari is an experienced Senior Big Data Engineer at SemanticBits, with a tenure beginning in November 2019. Prior to this role, Poornima served as a Software Engineer focused on Big Data and Machine Learning at CARFAX, where responsibilities included building ETL pipelines and developing ML models with NLP capabilities. Poornima also held a position as an Instructor for the CS Outreach program at the University of Texas at Dallas, teaching Big Data concepts and data analysis techniques. Earlier experience includes a role as a Systems Engineer at TCS, where Poornima led a migration project and reengineered legacy software. Poornima earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University.
