Yurii Butyrin

Yurii Butyrin has a diverse work experience starting from 2003. Yurii began their career as the Deputy Chairman of the Students Union Committee at Sumy State University. Yurii then worked as the Executive Director of the Sports and health camp "Universitet" for a short period in 2005. Yurii later joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a Military man, serving from 2006 to 2007, and then again from 2014 to 2015. In 2008, they became self-employed and worked as a Freelancer, specializing in Linux and Windows deployment and administration, as well as remote support. Yurii also operated as an Entrepreneur, deploying and administering services such as HTTP, Mail, FTP, and SSH.

Yurii's next significant role was as a System Administrator at LIGA:ZAKON, where they worked from 2015 to 2018. Yurii then joined Semantrum in 2018 as a DevOps Engineer, responsible for on-prem and cloud administration using various tools such as VMware vSAN, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis.

Most recently, Yurii returned to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022 and served as a Military man until 2023. Throughout their career, Yurii has gained expertise in DevOps, system administration, cloud administration, and military service.

Yurii Butyrin attended Sumy State University from 2000 to 2005, where they studied The Computerized Control Systems and Automatics. Yurii did not obtain a specific degree during their time at the university.
