Sara Alves da Silva

Sara Alves da Silva is an experienced Data Protection Officer (DPO) currently serving at Semapa and the ETSA Group since October 2018, while also holding the same position at Secil since June 2008. Prior to these roles, Sara worked in various capacities at Secil, including as Sub-Director of the IT Department and HelpDesk Manager, where responsibilities included defining and implementing IT policies and disaster recovery plans. Additional experience includes serving as an Information System Coordinator at Hifly, where Sara managed flight and crew management software and implemented HR modules, and as a teacher at EST/IPS, lecturing on various programming languages and information management systems. Sara's career began as an Informatics Technician at Portugalia Airlines, and earlier as a Programmer/Analyst at Rural Informática. Education includes a Master's degree in Information Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Licentiate degree in Decision Systems Engineering from Instituto Superior de Informática e Gestão.
