Sundara Vadivel

Sundara Vadivel is an experienced professional in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) management with over 25 years of expertise in various industries. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Group HSSE at Sembcorp Industries Ltd since July 2020, Sundara previously held significant roles at Rolls-Royce as Regional HS & E Manager and at Shell in multiple capacities, including Lead HSE Systems and Improvements and Senior HSSE & SP Auditor. Early career experience includes positions at Agilent Technologies, Sembawang Shipyard, and Steel Authority of India Limited, demonstrating a solid foundation in safety management and regulatory compliance. Sundara holds a Master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, a Master of Engineering in Industrial Safety Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Government College of Engineering.
