Niclas Frederiksen

Niclas Frederiksen has extensive experience in engineering and design, currently serving as a System Owner for weather sealing of wooden wind turbines at Semcon since September 2011. Previously, Niclas worked as a Design Engineer with Sulzer Sweden, a Lead Engineer at Semcon studios, and a Mechanical Design Engineer at ESAB R&D Gothenburg, focusing on industrial robotic welding equipment. Earlier roles included industrial design and mechanical engineering for in-house projects at Semcon Stockholm and a full-time consultancy at ABB Interrupters. Niclas started a career in workshop operations at Bodycote and Provexa AB, alongside an internship at Volvo Car Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Technical Design and Product Development from Luleå University of Technology, obtained between 2006 and 2011, with a notable master thesis on furniture design in collaboration with Blå Station AB.
