Jessica Armstrong

Jessica Armstrong has significant experience in research and laboratory roles within the field of biology. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Semex since November 2018, Jessica Armstrong designs and executes complex experiments focused on semen quality and bull fertility, while also analyzing data and reporting findings to the scientific research manager. Prior to this role, Jessica Armstrong worked as a Laboratory Technician at Semex, where responsibilities included processing bovine semen samples according to standard procedures. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Carleton University for an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award, investigating genetic interactions in antibiotic-resistant E. coli. Jessica Armstrong holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Carleton University, obtained in 2018.
