Romain Gaucher

Romain Gaucher is a seasoned security researcher currently working at Semgrep since August 2023 and serving as an Officer at the Web Application Security Consortium since 2008. Previously, Romain held several notable positions, including Security Engineering Manager at Meta from February 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing teams focused on web and native security across various platforms. As a Principal Security Researcher and Senior Manager at Synopsys (December 2011 - February 2022), Romain led the Security Research Lab and contributed to the development of Coverity static analysis tools.
