Cassandra Melvin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Cassandra is currently the Co-Chair of the Executive Board for the European Commission Pact for Skills for Microelectronics, where they work on upskilling and reskilling initiatives in the industry. Prior to this, they held positions at SEMI, a global association for the electronics industry, where they served as Senior Director of Business Development and Operations, Director of Operations and Business Development, Director of Operations, and Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing. At SEMI, they focused on driving sales, business development, product development, and marketing, while also optimizing P&Ls for SEMI Europe. Before SEMI, Cassandra founded and directed Future Legends, an organization that provided educational opportunities for young girls in various countries. Cassandra also worked as a Partner and Community Builder at ROCKCHAIN, where they fostered partnerships and connected influential women in diverse fields. Earlier in their career, Cassandra held roles at Atotech Group as a Global Product Manager for multiple divisions and managed market introductions on a global scale. Cassandra also worked at SUNY Polytechnic Institute as a Business Manager for Technical Programs and as a Project Manager and IT System Administrator. Cassandra Melvin has a diverse education history. Cassandra obtained a High School Diploma from Phillips Academy in 2002. Cassandra then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in the Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 2006.
In 2019, Cassandra attended executive education programs to enhance their professional skills. Cassandra completed an Executive Education program in People and Organisational Effectiveness at Cambridge Judge Business School. Additionally, they gained certifications in Advanced Facilitation, Design Sprint 3.0, and Problem Framing from Design Sprint Academy.
