Val Samonis

Val Samonis has four decades of hands-on experience with top policy and education organizations. They are the Founding President and Owner of SEMI Online and currently serve as Chief Knowledge Officer. They taught as The Web Professor of Global Management (Retired) at Royal Roads University from 2002 to 2021 and were a Research Fellow & Associate Professor at the University of Toronto from 1986 to 1998. Their past roles include Fulbright Scholar at Indiana University (1982–1983), Research Associate at INET (2010–2023), Senior Research Faculty at The Blockchain Research Institute (2017–2021), Zintro Expert (2012–2021), Associate at The Council on Foreign Relations of Europe (2007–2023), Guiding Editor of The Transnational Corporations Journal (2008–Present), and Self-employed Certified Professional Consultant (Global Innovation & Knowledge Economy) (2021–2023).
