Seyi Barber has a long and varied work experience. In 2008, they began working as a Principal Consultant- Oil & Energy for BarCorp Consulting Ltd. In 2012, they took on two roles as a Process Safety Engineer- ABB and a Process Engineer- ABB for bp. Later that year, they joined Arup as a Geophysics & Geotechnical. In 2013, they moved to WorleyParsons as a Process Safety & Risk Engineer & HES Co-ordinator. In 2016, they took on a role as a Strategic Procurement & Contracts for Chevron. In 2017, they became the Head Of Operations & HSE for Landmark Africa. In 2019, they joined Unilever as a Lead Project Engineer - West Africa [Upfield Ltd.]. In 2021, they became Co-Founder & CEO of Juno Africa. Finally, in 2022, they took on the role of Director for Semicolon.

Seyi Barber began their education in 2000 at St. Georges V.A. School in Harpenden. In 2005, they attended The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe, where they obtained A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Business Studies, and Communication Studies. In 2008, they graduated from Loughborough University with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering (HONS). In 2015, Seyi completed a Postgraduate Programme in Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Imperial College London. In 2020, they enrolled in an Executive Programme in Management: School Leadership at Harvard Business School, which they are currently completing. In 2014, Seyi obtained a HAZOP Study Leader certification from the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
