Kashyap Yellai

Kashyap Yellai has a diverse and extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Kashyap is currently employed as a Program Manager at Semiconductor Research Corporation since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Intel Corporation from 2018 to 2022, where they held two positions. As a Senior Technologist R&D & NPI, they led cross-functional teams in reviewing R&D capabilities and identifying solutions to reduce investment capital. Kashyap also guided teams in insourcing software development to save on third-party software licensing costs. In their role as a New Product Introduction and Transfer Lead, they successfully guided cross-functional teams through ambiguity and resolved conflicts related to project requirements. Kashyap also negotiated resources and deadlines for the transfer and startup of 3D cross-point technology.

Before Intel Corporation, Kashyap worked at IM Flash from 2006 to 2018. During their time there, they held various positions. As a Senior Strategic Projects Manager, they led a team in solving complex problems and justified equipment upgrades that significantly improved yield and output. Kashyap also collaborated with suppliers and equipment engineers to implement innovative cost solutions and generate substantial savings. As an Advanced Memory NPI and Transfer Technologist, they developed guidelines for designing low-cost, high-throughput, and high-yielding processes. Kashyap also led automation, change management, and engineering teams to successfully execute new product startups. Additionally, they served as a Senior Continuous Improvement and Quality Engineer, where they led teams in decision-making and problem-solving, reducing quality deviations and implementing robust automation systems. In their initial role as a Process Engineer, they qualified and sustained new memory manufacturing processes by driving process control changes and troubleshooting defects. Overall, Kashyap Yellai's work experience showcases their expertise in program management, R&D, new product introduction, technology transfer, process improvement, and quality management in the semiconductor industry.

Kashyap Yellai completed their education in a chronological order. Kashyap first attended Andhra University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree with a field of study in Metallurgical Engineering. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Materials Science at Auburn University from 2000 to 2003. Subsequently, from 2003 to 2006, they continued their education at Auburn University and received a second Master of Science (M.S.) degree, this time in Physics. Finally, in 2010, Kashyap Yellai enrolled in the University of Utah and accomplished a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
