Alan Harris

Alan Harris has extensive experience in emergency management and public safety, currently serving as Emergency Manager for Seminole County Government since 2002. Prior to this role, Alan worked as a Training / CIER Officer with the City of Altamonte Springs Fire Department from 1999 to 2002 and served as Public Information Officer - Reservist Firefighter with Alachua County Fire Rescue from 1995 to 1999. Earlier in their career, Alan held the position of Rooms Division Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., overseeing hotel operations from 1992 to 1996. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida, completed in 1995.
