Kathryn Valentine

Kathryn Valentine has extensive experience in emergency management, currently serving as the Mitigation and Recovery Coordinator for Seminole County Government since August 2015. In this role, Kathryn oversees mitigation and recovery efforts, including local strategies, grant funding applications, and public outreach initiatives. Previously, Kathryn held positions as an Emergency Management Accountant, managing grants and budgeting, and as an Emergency Management Associate, focusing on public outreach and program evaluation. Early in the career, Kathryn served as an Emergency Management Intern and also worked as a Trainer at Moe's Southwest Grill. Kathryn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and Emergency Management from the University of Central Florida.
