Bob Hunter began their work experience in 2005 at Seminole County Government, where they held the position of Procurement Administrator - Contracts Section until 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they served as the Animal Services Manager at the same company. In 2017, Bob joined the Seminole County Sheriff's Office as the Director of Human Resources.

Bob Hunter completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science from Rollins College between 2002 and 2004. Bob began their academic journey with an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Programming & Analysis from Valencia College, which they completed between 2000 and 2002.
