Michael Lee

Michael Lee is a seasoned environmental regulatory specialist with extensive experience in compliance and permitting across various sectors. Currently holding the position of Senior Environmental Regulatory Specialist at Seminole Electric Cooperative since November 2013, Michael oversees the interpretation of environmental laws and regulations to ensure corporate compliance, specifically focusing on siting and permitting for power plants, transmission lines, and related facilities. Prior roles include Senior Associate Ecologist at Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc., Ecologist at Avid Engineering, and various environmental positions at Coastal Engineering, QORE Property Sciences, and the Southwest Florida Water Management District, where contributions included research on Minimum Flows and Levels. Michael possesses degrees from the University of South Florida and the University of Florida.
