Morten Friis-Olsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Morten is currently the CMO/Head of Customer Experience at Semler Gruppen A/S since February 2022, where they are responsible for leading the customer experience strategy. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Digital & Group Data at Semler Gruppen A/S from October 2020 to February 2022.

Morten started their career as a Research Planner at OMD from October 2006 to March 2009, where they specialized in market research and planning.
Morten also gained early work experience as a Student Assistant at Rie Design from May 2003 to August 2006.

Morten Friis-Olsen completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Management Communication from Aarhus University between 2003 and 2006. Morten then pursued a Master's degree in Cand.merc.(kom.) from Copenhagen Business School, graduating in 2008. Additionally, in 2005, they attended The Chinese University of Hong Kong for a study abroad program focused on Business & Intercultural Communication, although they did not receive a degree from this institution.
