Tom John F. Jensen

Tom John F. Jensen has a diverse work experience in various roles. Tom John F. began their career as the Chief Privacy Officer at Semler Gruppen A/S in January 2018, and later became the Head of Privacy & Security in March 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member and then Chairman of the Board (Non-executive) at SOCIUU from July 2016 to December 2019. Tom John F. also worked as a Legal Consultant and then as an IT Contract Manager at Københavns Kommune from 2015 to 2017. In addition, they were a Member of the Privacy Advisory Group at KL in 2017 and at the Danish Health Authority from January 2016 to 2017.

Tom John F. Jensen completed their education in Business Administration and Commercial Law at Aarhus University. Tom John F. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Aarhus University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2013. Tom John F. further pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the same field of study from Aarhus University, completing their studies from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Tom John F. Jensen has earned several certifications. Tom John F. obtained the ISO/IEC 27701 - Diploma-certification from Danish Standard in October 2022. Tom John F. completed the CISM Course from Firebrand Training in January 2022 and earned the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in November 2021. In November 2018, they obtained the CIPP/E certification from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Tom John F. also holds the ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - Information Security Certification from PECB, obtained in December 2016. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from Westergaard A/S in May 2016.
